Greetings to all of my fans!

The norwegian forum of Pratekompaniet is actually discussing my blog in this thread (it's in norwegian). I felt i had to let my fans know i cared so i registered myself there so i could answer them!
Some of them are
convinced that i'm not real, but i can assure you, people of pratekompaniet, that i am! And i am not joking, ok?
Someone else is wondering about why i write so much about
norwegian news and i had to answer that it's because i'm learning norwegian and is a nice way to learn a new language. You should try to learn something else than norwegian and english one day! It's fun :)
I will keep an eye of you, fans from
pratekompaniet, so you won't feel neglected. If you really want you can even subscribe to my rss feed!

Peace out,
Mircha

Stupid Norwegians

Greetings to my fans across the world!

It is of
no suprise that i read the following article in norwegian VG, that the toilet facilities in schools look even worse than they did in Hungary 50 years ago. And it is of no suprise i think norwegians are stupid. It is (one of) the most wealthy countries in the world and they are not even interested in spending money to upgrade and maintain something that is so important for the future.
Norwegian studentes score very low on european tests and they wonder why?
If studentes don't even want to
drink water from the school because the toilets are so disgusting (and they really are!!), it is of no suprise to me that they don't perform as they should!

Does the
toilet facilities in the goverment buildings look like this?
It's really food for thought.

Peace out,
Mircha

Civilization IV

Greetings to all of my little fans!

I just wanted to write a small review about one of my all-time favourite computer games.

I've been an addicted fan of Sid Meyer's Civilization-games since the first Civ came out in 1991, and this game doesn't exactly let me down.

If you're familiar with the Civilization series, then you're already well aware that they've traditionally been turn-based strategy games that let you play as the political leader of one of the world's civilizations to take over the world, starting from the stone age and continuing right on through to the space age by having a lone settler unit build your first city on the way to establishing whatever advanced society you choose to design over the course of dozens of turns.

After building a few cities, inventing some new technology and exploring a little you might meet some of the other early civilizations as well. The other civilizations are (in one player mode) controlled by the computer, and their leader's personal properties differ from culture to culture. Some are more interested in their religious views than to annihilate you.

As your cities grow and their cultural impact influence the surrounding land, neighboring civs can lose some territory to you, including cities and natural resources close to the border.

Your goal is (of course) to take over the world in one way or another. It is possible to win a cultural victory based on the cultural impact your civilization have over the world, a diplomatic victory where other civs vote for you in the UN, perform genocide on the other civilizations or win the space race. It's this great variety that helps give Civ IV the same alarmingly addictive quality it's predecessors carried.

If you haven't already bought this masterpiece of a game yet, i would seriously recommend it. But please be aware that you will lose a lot of sleep the next weeks... :)

Peace out,
Mircha

Celebrity parties in Oslo

Greetings my darling fans!

Today was the premiere of the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, on Colosseum movie theatre in Oslo. It was specked with various celebs, and the Bond girl even came for a visit! And who else? Yours truly, of course!

The movie itself was
mediocre at best. I feel it lacked the humor found in most of the other James Bond movies.
The premiere was ..
interesting! As a suparstar, i've gotten used to a little bit more spectacular openings, and i kind of regret that i didn't catch the opening in London instead. Although it was a nice attempt by the norwegians, i think most of the norwegian celebs remind me of pale versions of Paris Hilton. They're famous, but they haven't really done anything to become famous (soap operas doesn't count!).

It was nice to once again
meet mr Stordalen. He's an attractive man for his age, and i think he should have found a better looking girlfriend!
Super-MILF Dorthe Skappel was there as well, but i can't say i think her dress was very pretty. Was it made of aluminium foil? :D

After the premiere i was invited to some kind of party with a couple of semi-celebs. I don't even remember their names. It sucked! Who let in all the 19 year old prettyboys with bleached hair and champagne that their rich daddies bought? And the girls! They were trying to be like the rich kids of Stockholm, except they failed BIG TIME.
Kids: Not much point in spending your daddy's money on
Cristal or Dom Perignon when you make it look like you're drinking coffee with moonshine! Stupid norwegians!

Well, i will be
going home pretty soon i think. I might go to the music award thingie in Liverpool, but i'm not quite sure yet. I'll keep you posted!
Good night dear fans! :)

Peace out,
Mircha

PS: A lot of you
complained about my english skills. Was this good enough for you? (Helps to be drunk and not being in a rush) :D
